Qui vais-je être, devenir, le jour où j'annoncerai la fin de ma carrière de sportive de haut niveau ? À 32 ans, Léa a déjà passé la moitié de sa vie, 16 ans, à parcourir le monde pour des compétitions internationales et deux Jeux Olympiques, avec l'équipe de France de kayak de vitesse. Une longue expérience qui fait d'elle ce qu'elle est aujourd'hui, son identité même. Si elle ne connait pas encore le jour de sa retraite, la question se pose depuis plusieurs mois déjà. Et plus encore depuis que sa Fédération lui a annoncé, en décembre 2024, la fin de son contrat d'aménagement professionnel, la poussant à démissionner de son poste de chargée de communication d'une entreprise bretonne.

But they're not just attempting the one, they're also attempting to break the outdoor record at the world famous Herne Hill velodrome. This is no easy feat, since the record of 35.54km has stood since 1886.
